511L - Lockable Motorcycle Saddlebags Set (Instock)

Imagine a motorcycle saddlebag that actually looks part of the motorcycle and compliments its lines, a bag that's not too big but not too small; offering decent storage storage capacity yet sleek enough to blend in with the bikes rear guard. If you ride a medium to large cruiser; especially the Triumph Thunderbird, Harley Dyna Fat Bob, Kawasaki 1700 Classic or anything similar to these large cruisers, The NEW 511L will be be the answer your looking for.

History of the this saddlebag model: The original saddlebag model 512L was designed specifically for the Triumph Thunderbird, model 510L is the shorter version which is a beautifully constructed bag that ticks all the boxes fitting most medium to large cruiser motorbikes. Opens from the rear with chrome lock & Velcro reinforced sides. Large spacious inside with inside lid organiser with Velcro/zip/net pockets & elasticised net at side of main bag compartment. From end to end it measures 17inch with a 45degree angle (total length from rear bottom to front line is approx 20inch). Over the last few years we are continuously surprised how the saddlebag compliments various motorcycles with or without the external shock absorber; check through the images you will see it on a HD Street, Slim, Indian Scout, Honda Rebel, Kawasaki Vulcan 650s, Suzuki M109, Yamaha Roadliner, Stryker, Vstar & Triumph America, Thunderbird & Rocket 3.  It will fit some small cruisers but be mindful the width of the bag is 7.5inch, most smaller bikes look best with 6.25inch width saddlebags.

If you find the 510L is too short and the 512L is too long, then the 511L is the perfect inbetween size. The width of the bag will be approx 7.75inch.

These bags are universal and will work on almost any bike with almost any hardmount saddlebag system.
Note: the 511L seems to fit large cruiser motorcycles best. On a large cruiser they'll fill the space but leaving a little room for pillion or adjusting position, if the large cruiser has a short rear guard eg m109 then it will be too long. On a medium cruiser will mostly fill the full space and possible start to be border line too big, this setup would be ideal for someone wanting to fit as much as possible on a medium sized cruiser. For example the triumph thunderbird can fit the 510, 510 slim, 511 and 512, explore the photos of each model you'll see how each fit; The 511L is a great inbetween option.

Depending on the location you choose for your bags, as well as the mounting system you use, in some cases, although not listed above, turn signal relocation and other modifications may be required. Please make sure to always leave enough clearance to accommodate for your exhaust, suspension and other vital motorcycle components.
