Awesome under jacket which is perfect for cold Canberra weather. I chucked this under jacket over a regular t-shirt, then my long sleeve kevlar t-shirt (thin and meant for summer) over the top. Kept me warm while riding around Canberra in 9°C on a really windy day. Very cheap compared to others and does a better job.
I searched for ages for a good thermal, but couldn’t bring myself to pay several hundred dollars for one especially when not all reviews were very kind. I came across this and decided it was so cheap I’d give it a go, and I’m very glad I did. First morning was 12 degrees so I wore it over a singlet, under my mesh jacket. I expected it to fail & I’d be cold, but it worked a treat. Next day was 8 so I wore it under my leather perforated jacket (which fits tight) and I was toasty warm on my 20 min freeway trip to work.
Can’t recommend it highly enough
After looking on internet for ages for decently priced wind proof jacket I decided I won't pay close to 200 bucks for the big brand product and decided to give this one a go.
It arrived just in time, when the morning temperatures dropped to below 10 degrees Celsius on my commute to work. The jacket works great, I can now ride with just my short sleeved polo shirt under and leather perforated jacket over and it keeps me warm enough in around 10 degrees situations with motorway speeds.
Over 15 degrees it starts to feel really toasty so I feel it does it's job really well.
The sizing on the website is accurate.
A fantastic well priced bit of kit. The size instructions are spot on and the fit is perfect. Another plus is that the sleeves are long and reach the wrist, leaving no uncovered spots.
Keeps the wind at bay for sure and definately adds extra warmth. My wife wears it during her early morning walks as well as when on the bike.
I was so impressed that I ordered another one for myself, a little bigger of course.
Delivery is super fast, the product is wonderful and accurately described. IOy's a bit of motorcycling kit not to be missed and it's versatile as well.
If you wanna ride in winter and stay warm buy this, I wish I had bought one of these windproof shirts years ago, also delivered quickly and is the cheapest one I've seen around.
Great fit and no fuss fast delivery. Can't fault the finish of the garment. Not too thick under the leather or textile jacket.
You can use it as a normal jacket when walking around off the bike. Using a jacket as a layer works very well as you can regulate the warmth simply by fully or partially unzipping it as you need. I use this instead of the thermal zip in liner of my textile jacket.
This jacket is easy to put over or under the other garments as it doesn't have Velcro and doesn't stick to the other garments (my Jackets and gloves all seem to have Velcro).
I have both the Finn Moto inner jacket and BMW's $260 version.
I find I use the Finn more often because it is both warmer and more comfortable.
A great buy at $64.90.
This is a comfortable and light inner and probably be ok as a summer riding jacket on its own, breathes well and sizing chart is spot on, good high neck zip up.
This liner is fantastic value for money, great quality and windproof. Trust the fitting chart, it is accurate. My jacket is an L, the chart said 2XL for the liner and it was a perfect fit. Highly recommended to anyone looking for a lightweight windproof liner that can be worn under the jacket and also as a "standalone" lightweight jacket at night meaning one less item of clothing to pack for a trip.
With this jacket under my perforated leather jacket I was comfortable all day. You do not need a scarf or neck warmer as the high collar zips up snug. This was on a winters day and others on our ride complained of the cold getting through when we were in the foggy valleys. Looks good when the main jacket comes off. Fit for me was spot on.
Very happy, I have a perforated leather jacket and this fits and works well underneath for those cooler days although I still have to drag out my winter jacket for those really cold days.
I used the jacket over a base layer and under a textile touring style jacket. I don't like zip-in thermal 7 waterproof liners as they always seem overly bulky. The FinMoto windproof jacket is light enough to do the job for me with a number of different jackets without adding too much bulk.
I'm normally an XL in Aussie and US jackets etc, but according to the size chart I needed a 3XL which I ordered fearing it might be too big - it wasn't. The jacket was a perfect fit, not bulky and with nice length at the rear. For the correct size go by the the size chart recommendation.
My only mild criticism is that the jacket's breathability under a closed textile jacket was not great, resulting in some body moisture being trapped. Next time I will open the rear vents on my covering jacket before riding,
