A next-generation men’s black motorcycle hoodie built for serious protection and everyday comfort. The outer shell is a premium black fleece blended with DuPont™ Kevlar® fibre, and fully lined with 340gsm terry loop knitted DuPont™ Kevlar® liner, achieves around 7 seconds abrasion time in testing (the same protective liner that’s used in our 5 star rated 881 jean). The jacket includes removable impact safety armour rated level 2 at the shoulders, elbows and spine.

A longer torso cut ensures full coverage in every riding position. The jacket remains casual and comfortable on and off the bike, eliminating the need for a bulky traditional motorcycle jacket. The material breathes surprisingly well especially when you’re riding out of the city.

Is the upgrade worth it?

Finn Moto’s original cotton-fleece hoodie with a 300 gsm terry-loop Kevlar® liner was already a leader, independently tested at 3.8 seconds abrasion time (EN13595:2002). The impact zones were double-layered, giving even higher times in those key areas. Searching on motocap you’ll see most other motorcycle hoodies still last only 0.5–2 seconds.

Eager to push the product further, we developed a protective cotton/Kevlar-blend fleece outer shell and fully lined it with the proven 340 gsm liner used in our 881 jeans (MotoCAP 5-star rated)—achieving about twice the protection.

When we put a few price–protection options to riders, everyone chose the higher protection.
