What can it fit?
One side of the 101 saddlebag (slim version) can comfortably fit a pair of jeans, 3 tshirts, handful of socks/undies, gloves, sunnies, water bottle / snacks. If replacing jeans with kevlar jeans the clothing fits very snug (no room for water bottle).
Putting the same contents above into the 101XL it takes up just over half the space. If replacing the jeans with kevlar jeans it will comfortably fit everything with enough space for lightweight weatherproof gear etc.

101 Lockable - Great Small Saddlebags
Purchased 101 (normal size) lockable for my XVS650 Custom. They are small but look great on a smaller cruiser. Easily enough room for a day trip or commuting without a backpack. Quality seems good so far, sturdy construction. The buckles are easy to undo with the quick release clips but can be a bit fiddly to fully do up again. Sometimes I just use the locking mechanism around town. For the XVS650 I made my own brackets to get the placement just right and relocated the indicators to the number plate bracket, no need to extend the wiring.
