The denim has a good amount of stretch and the fit will be a neat straight leg cut.
The sizing is a true fit, suiting slimmer to average builds (not too skinny not too wide).
The cut is similar to a 514 on the average build customer. Please take the time to fill out the measurement list so we can choose the best fit for you.

FACTS:
- Cambridge machine simulates Australian roads more accurately than the Darmstadt.
- Some AAA rated single layer jeans last <2 seconds on the Cambridge machine. (this is not good)
- 4 seconds on the Cambridge machine is the minimum you would want for an all round protective motorcycle jean.
- EN13595-1:2002 = Cambridge machine.
Finnmoto independently tests the protective lining & denim used in its jeans. The material impact abrasion test meets level 1 protection throughout the jeans, test 13595-1: 2002 5.4 abrasion protection from Satra Technologies UK. The armour supplied with jeans is en1621-1:2002 level 2. The fabric has also been tested in Australia with motocap achieving a 4/5 star rating (6 seconds). Motocap rating - See it here
EN13595-1:2002 test method was discontinued in 2023 and replaced with EN17092 standard (B A AA AAA). Garments that last 2 seconds can pass the AAA rating. Australian roads typically need 4 seconds.

'Jean size' refers to the label size; true Australian jean size.
You can cross reference by measuring the circumference of your bodies waist line, match it upto 'recommended waist circumference'.
To triple check you can grab your existing good fitting jeans, lay them flat & measure across the waist as in picture below.
The sizing guide is our average leg cut (fits approx height 170cm to 185m). Short leg is approx 2inch shorter (<170cm). Long leg is approx 2inch longer. (>185cm)

882 Jeans
Great quality, noticeably more substantial than my current riding jeans, with a really solid build and finish. Customer service was excellent too, especially when sorting out an exchange after I stuffed up my sizing. Highly recommend.

Best Motorcycle Jeans
I've had other motorcycle jeans in the past, but none compare to the 882! These are the best built and most comfortable ones I've had. The lining extends all the way down on the leg, and hip & knee armour is included. I'm incredibly happy with these jeans and will be sticking with Finn moto when the time comes for a new pair. The safety rating on these jeans is far more applicable to Australian roads and more honest than other brands.

Excellent Quality, Comfort and Safety – Proud to Support an Australian Brand! I recently purchased a pair of Finn Moto motorcycle jeans, and I couldn't be happier with my purchase. The fit is excellent, they're extremely comfortable, look fantastic, and appear to have great safety features built in, although I hope I never have to put those to the test! I particularly like the subtle branding. It's classy and understated, rather than being overly flashy. I originally came across Finn Moto while researching motorcycle jeans on the MotoCAP website. What ultimately sold me on Finn Moto was the combination of safety, quality, price and the fact that they're an Australian company. Their jeans are priced in the middle but carry the highest safety rating. Being able to support a local Australian business was the icing on the cake! The whole experience has been excellent, and the jeans arrived safely and fitted perfectly. I'll definitely be recommending Finn Moto to my riding friends. Fantastic jeans and service
I received a follow up email after ordering to measure and make sure the size I am shipped fits me. I appreciate the care given in doing this, and I received a pair 1 size up which fits perfectly. The jeans themselves are sturdy in construction. Haven't slid in them and hope I don't ever, but I am confident enough wearing them to do motorway speeds. Only complaint is they are very warm and will be too warm in the summer for my commute to work and back.

Best jeans ever
I was on the fence about buying armoured jeans thinking they might be too bulky looking - I was wrong. The “Motocap” site persuaded me that these were the best jeans for protection, priced within my budget and supporting an Australian business. Matt is very easy to talk to and sorted out my queries even suggesting a different style if I wanted a change, complete with pics. I bought the 882 long regular fit not the slim fit and they are superb. The fit is spot on, the colour is great and the quality would put more expensive pants to shame, excellent. The level 2 armour is very comfortable and virtually invisible externally. If you’re undecided about armoured jeans in general, get in touch with Matt and buy Finn Moto - you will not regret it.

All round good jeans
I bought a pair of these jeans recently and am very happy with the fit, feel and construction. They are heavy so could be warm in peak summer but feel strong and safe which is more important and don't feel heavy or awkward to wear. I have other jeans which are lighter but are not as comfortable.

882 jeans
Good fit, full perforated lining adds to the comfort. Stretch denim makes them easy to wear with boots. Jeans feel substantial and well made, probably adds a little to the warmth in summer, but safety of full lining more than makes up for this. Armour sits comfortably and is not too bulky.

Best fitting jeans period
I never expected that these armored jeans would fit me so well. thanks to Matt for taking the time to get my measurements and to make sure they got them right. Best Jeans I’ve ever owned.
