Black Motorcycle Jeans, fully lined 100% genuine DuPont™ KEVLAR® fiber. The protective lining is 340gsm terry loop knitted which provides a level 1 impact abrasion resistance, the pants are suitable for most of the year.

Premium pair of jeans dark black cotton denim outer with slight stretch along with a neat straight leg cut gives the rider a pair of stylish well protected pair of motorcycle jeans. Strictly made to a high standard, performance, comfort & looks. Only the highest quality materials & well experienced stitchers are used to create these pants.

This new version has gone harder to improve an existing well refined pair of motorcycle jeans sold for 10+ years and taken it to another level.
Some of the improvements you'll see are improved weight stretch denim, protective liner with more loops and density for more impact abrasion protection, stitched in hip armour pockets to hold in place with hidden velcro for comfort, two level adjustable knee armour position, protective liner stitched all the way to ankle for ease of putting on and off (no longer catching heel), an overall neater stylish cut without effecting the fit when sitting. Finn Moto model 882 jean testing results of 4 seconds / level 1 is used with the Cambridge testing machine.

As referenced by motocap Australia; this simulates garments sliding on chip seal road which is x4 more aggressive than smooth asphalt.
Chip seal is found in most rural roads and asphalt is mostly used in larger towns and cities in Australia. (Europe mostly uses asphalt all over)

The new Europe A AA AAA rating system (Darmstadt abrasion test ev 17092) is suitable for smooth asphalt.

To give you an idea of what the above means, material that can achieve AAA results, lasts 2 seconds on the Cambridge testing machine.
Is our 4 seconds over the top? There have been many positive experiences customers have shared in the last 10 years where I'm glad we make them how they are.

Available in most sizes 32 to 44 & lengths short, average and long leg.

The impact abrasion test meets level 1 protection throughout the jeans for 13595-1: 2002 5.4 abrasion protection from Satra Technologies UK. (4 seconds of abrasion = level 1). The fabric has also been tested in Australia achieving 3.8 seconds.

17.5inch across the waist will be a size 34.

If you normally wear a standard size 34 in Australia, you will fit in our size 34.
Measuring your bodies belt line it should measure 36inch waist circumference. To cross reference lay your normal jeans flat, measure cross the waist side to side equals 17.5inch. Remember our jeans have kevlar so if your normal 34 jeans might measure a little less.

USA: If you wear a size 34 in USA clothing, then you should choose 35 or 36 (use the circumference and across waist method).

If you need help with size selection please call or email with the following information:

- Normal jean size?
- Height?
- Actual waist circumference or across waist measurement of jeans?

    great jeans

Posted by Ed on 4th Jun 2016

I read one of the other reviews; rang Matt and he told me sizes were true. I ordered my normal size and they fit perfectly. They look great and I have worn them out. My only criticism would be that the change pocket is too small to be of use but that's a pretty small thing. I have yet to try them in an accident but I guess I can wait for that.

good product, really full kevlar protection

Posted by Mikhail (Russia, Moscow) on 20th Aug 2015

a little bit warm for hot summer ( kevlar is double layer) Good fit, internal protection OK. Fast shipping to Russia - 2 weeks to Moscow! Translation: A little too hot for the hot summer is almost a second layer of Kevlar. Do not save! Croy comfortable, but tight jeans and a separate type of protection will not wear Thor. Due to the fact that the narrow internal protection (detachable naturally) sits tight and there is a chance that not provnrnetsya the fall. The size that is fully consistent with the US 34 is a 34. I was on the growth of 185 cm veyal long. In general, normal pants, and you can walk in the city without attracting attention.

Comfortable and warm still as weather gets cooler

Posted by Dave on 21st May 2015

Got these in black and happy to wear in the office as nobody has noticed that they aren't dress suit pants. Took knee pads out for now but feel fine as at least I wont loose all the skin off my legs if I fall off - nice duds

    good value for money

Posted by Langy on 3rd May 2015

I have a GSXR1000 and KLR650, jeans are good on KLR650 which is a sit upright style bike. But the protection on the knees is a little too hard on the knees for a sports bike. Overall good value for money and fit well.

    Quality jeans

Posted by Mick on 23rd Apr 2015

After many attempts to find a decent pair of riding jeans at as reasonable price the Finn moto kevlar jeans finally fit the bill. Nice fit and heavy duty whilst looking like every day jeans. The kevlar lining is on par with other more expensive jeans if not better.

Good quality and fit. Haven't tested impact or abrasion protection!

Posted by Ben on 13th Nov 2014

There was a problem with the availability of what I ordered, and this caused a delay which was not apparent until several days later. From this point, however, I was dealt with very well. Matt contacted me and offered to send the 450gsm trousers instead. I have worn these twice and am very happy with the fit and quality. They are heavy - hot to walk around in in summer, but reassuring on the bike. I usually wear size 32 jeans and these fit true to size. They could be a little longer in the leg - I am 180cm and ordered the standard leg length. With the kneepads in, they sit a little above the ankle. If you are any taller than me, definitely get the longer ones. Recommended, and I'll happily shop with Finn moto again.

    Fit like jeans, look great

Posted by Mike on 9th Oct 2014

I bought the Black Motorcycle Jeans - 300gsm Kevlar. I am a size 32 waist and 32 leg in Levis. I bought the Finn jeans in the 32 size and they fit well. I don't like scratchy labels inside clothing so I did remove the inner pockets that are designed to hold hip pads. I found that the velcro tabs in them had sharp edges and they also added bulk. The jeans came with knee protectors in them, which I also removed as I wanted a casual look. I have washed them once so far and they did not seem to shrink. They are quite heavy which is not surprising as you are wearing 3 pairs of pants - outer denim, then Kevlar, then a very light perforated synthetic fabric that keeps the Kevlar away from your skin and helps everything to move about as it should. A stout belt is necessary or they would be around your ankles. I am very happy with the jeans. They look casual. I have worn them all day at work with no problems, and they have total kevlar coverage.

    Should've bought this earlier

Posted by Francisco Piragibe on 10th Apr 2014

Exceptional value for money: soft, strong, well finished, comfortable and good looking. A must have! My previous one was somewhat uncomfortable, more expensive and offered less protection, as it was not a full linen and lacked the knee armour. I ordered a size 40 based on my waist measure and they sent me a 38, after a phone contact, which was simply a perfect fit (the 40 would have been too big - thanks guys). So, a good price for good service with good quality! It's not the first time I buy things from them ('bought a bike to bike intercom some months ago) and I'll surely be a returning customer in the future.

    Best fitting jeans I have

Posted by Ian on 17th Mar 2014

I opted for finn-moto motorcycle jeans because they have a long-leg option. I usually have a lot of trouble finding jeans that fit my waste but still have a full leg. These are the best fitting jeans I own now. The leg is narrow, but not enough to be restrictive. The pads are correctly positioned and aren't cumbersome - it's not immediately obvious to everybody else if I'm wearing the pads or not. Wouldn't buy anything else ;)
